Built up Felting systems
Three layer felt roofing is multiple layers of felt, encapsulated in modified hot bitumen.
When laid correctly, this system has a proven track record, with a life span in excess of 20 years.

Mastic Asphalt
Mastic Asphalt is a type of asphalt which differs from dense graded asphalt in that it has a higher bitumen content, usually around 7-10% of the whole aggregate mix, as opposed to rolled asphalt which has only around 5% added bitumen.
Mastic asphalt is heated to 210 degrees and spread in layers to form an impervious barrier about 20mm thick.
This thermoplastic substance is widely used in the building industry for balconies, terraces, flatroofs and tanking.
